Annie Sue Hawkins, age 97, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, January 12, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents Tobe and Bettye Hawkins, one sister, one brother, one daughter in law,  2 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

 She is survived by her children; Margaret Tipton, David Swafford, and Jerry (Wanda) Swafford, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Services will be held at Pleas Mt. Baptist Church on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Mrs. Hawkins will Lie in State 1 hour prior to funeral services at the church. Burial will follow the services in Pleas Mount Cemetery.
