Augustus (Gus) Joseph Marino, 86 was born on Oct 4, 1930 and went to meet his Lord Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, Aug 14, 2017.  He passed at his home of 53 years in Huntsville, AL.  Gus was the son of Anthony and Josephine Jenny Friscia Marino.  He was a long time member of the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church community.  He is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years Sue Paseur Marino who passed on Monday, July 31, 2017. He is survived by his 4 children: Thomas (Jody) Marino, Elaine Salas, Nancy (Gary) Mahon, James (Linda) Marino; 6 grandchildren: David (Jennifer) Marino, Christine (David) Soria, Angela (Tim) Tancik, Emily (Arthur) Luna, Therese Salas, and Holly Marino; and 4 great-grandchildren: Daniel and Melody Marino, Isaac Soria and Kolton Marino.  Gus is survived by his brother, Dominick (Marilyn) Marino of Seaford, NY, two children Anne (Richard) Harlukowicz, Jr and Toni-Lynn (Andrew) Cusumano, Jr and their children Donna Harlukowicz and Maria Cusumano, Angela Cusumano, Andrew Cusumano, III, and Victoria Cusumano all from NY.  He is also survived by Aunts Mary Friscia Hendry and Catherine Friscia Romano from NY and Uncle Charles Friscia from Winter Park, FL.

A memorial service will be held at St Joseph’s Catholic Church on Thursday, Aug 17,2017 at 11:00 am located at 2300 Beasley Avenue Huntsville, AL, 35816 with a viewing held from 10:15-10:45 am before the service,  Followed by internment at Huntsville Memory Gardens Mausoleum.   Spry Funeral Home will be directing.  In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to Holy Family Regional Catholic School or St Vincent DePaul Food Bank at 2300 Beasley Avenue Huntsville, AL, 35816.
