Badiollah Salehi, age 89 of Huntsville, died at a local nursing home. Badiollah Salehi was born on March 27, 1927 in Iran.  He joined his family in Huntsville, Alabama, in 1985.

Mr. Salehi worked for SCR for 25 years in Huntsville.  His favorite hobbies were gardening, his Bahai faith and family time.

Mr. Salehi is survived by three children, Masoued Salehi, Saied Salehi and wife Kay, and Rene Ghoreshi and husband Dr. Esa Ghoreshi.  He has four grandchildren, Dean Guenther, Daryoush Salehi and wife Michelle, Aram Salehi and wife Clare, Karom Salehi, Farah Woosley and husband Josh Woosley.  He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held February 17, 2017 at 10:00am.  Tim Tyson of the Bahai faith will be officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville.  A graveside service will be held Friday, February 17, 2017, 10:00am at Maple Hill Cemetery.
