Bennie Joe Sumners, 64 of Ardmore, Alabama died Monday at his residence.

Mr. Sumners was preceded in death by his parents, James Cole and Sarah Opal Sumners; and his son, Jason Turner. 

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Sumners, his sons, Stephen Turner (Ca’ Tenia), and Gary Turner; two grandchildren, Jasmine and Wayne Turner; his brothers, James Cole Sumners, Jr. (Mariana), Danny Ray Sumners (Teresa), Donny Miles Sumners (Jacqueline Garner); several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville where the family will receive friends Thursday 5 to 7pm.  A memorial service will follow at 7pm in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home.
