Betty Hatton Williams, 83, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 25, 2017 in Huntsville, Alabama.  She was born on July 5, 1933 in Clark county Kentucky to the late Jesse and Nannie Jones Hatton.

Her employment in Lexington, KY included legal secretary in the U.S. District Attorney's office and administrative assistant for Transylvania University.  She considered motherhood her greatest calling and priority.

She was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  She was an accomplished pianist and organist serving extensively in her church including various music leadership positions.

She is preceded by Hubert Curtis Williams. Survivors include one daughter, Debra Lynn Williams, and one son, David Curtis Williams (Leslie), three granddaughters, one grandson and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Jeremy Hon for seventeen years of exceptional care and all the wonderful caring staff at Clearview Cancer Institute in Huntsville Alabama.

Visitation for Betty Hatton Williams will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 1297 Slaughter Road on Saturday July 1, 2017 from 2:00pm until 2:50pm. Services will be conducted afterwards at 3:00pm and refreshments will follow. Burial will be in Winchester Cemetery in Winchester, Kentucky.
