Mrs. Nancy Carolyn Morrison 74, of Meridianville passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016. Mrs. Morrison spent the majority of her life as a nurse in the Huntsville community where she was the first nurse in Huntsville to recognize twins on an ultrasound.  

She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Mr. James Morrison, son Michael Morrison, daughter- in- law Tina Morrison, brother’s Roy Burgess and Melvin Burgess.

She is survived by her daughter Susan Buchanan and husband Kent of Meridianville, AL, grandson Aaron Morrison and wife Somer of Nashville, TN, and granddaughter Tiffany Morrison currently serving our country in Germany, brother Charles Burgess, brother-in-law Otis (JR) Morrison, and sister-in-law Dorothy Smith.

Visitation for Mrs. Morrison will held on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 11:00am at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
