Mr. Donald Ray Herda, age 85 of Toney, passed away Sunday at home.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Herda and son, Steve Herda.

He leaves behind his daughter, Nancy Carter, and husband Glenn; two sons, David Herda and wife Sonja, and Gary Herda, and wife Tonya; daughter-in-law, Elaine Herda; brother, Bill Herda, and wife Rhoda; seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville where the family will receive friends Sunday from 12 noon until 1:30pm.  A Service will follow at 1:30pm in Spry’s Chapel with Calvin Havens officiating.  Interment will follow at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
