Mrs. Doris Winnifred (Wall) Couch, age 71 of Hazel Green, passed away Tuesday at home with family.  A native of South Georgia, she has lived in Madison County for the past 16 years.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Grace Marion Couch.

Mrs. Couch is survived by her loving husband, of 45 years, Billy Couch, four daughters, Susan Brunson, and husband Anthony, Dolores Allen, and husband Richie, Billie Jean Carpenter, and Bridget Couch, and husband Ron; son, Bobby Joe Couch, and wife Nikki; sister, Gloria Hebert, and husband Marvin; eleven grandchildren, T.J. Nellie, Alyssa, Austin, Tony, Raleigh, Emma, Chance, Bailey, Megan, and Ellis; and one great-granddaughter, Madison.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends Friday from 4:00 until 6:00pm.  In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Salvation Army.
