Edward Leon Ratliff, age 84, of Ardmore, AL died Tuesday at a local hospital.  A native of Greenwood, MS, he has resided in Madison County, for the past 30 years.  He was a veteran of the US Air Force, during the Korean Conflict, and then went to work for NASA/MICOM where he retired after 33 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Lou Ratliff.

Edward is survived by Edward M. Ratliff, Stephen D. Ratliff, Jeffrey D. Ratliff, Edward L. Ratliff II, Rebekah L. Dorn, Stephen A. Ratliff, Justin Ratliff, Travis Ratliff, Josh Molt, Lynnzee Dorn, Sierra Ratliff, Dustin Ratliff.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 until 8:00pm.  Bro. Ratliff will lie-in-state at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Saturday. from 10:00 until 11:00am.  Funeral service will follow at 11:00am.  Interment will follow at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
