My prayers are with the family. Gabby and her husband Frank was the ones who pushed me to go back to school. Gabby was so kind and understanding and assured me that I will be ok and that my time will go by fast. I thank her for that, but my heart is heavy right now. I will forever hold on to the memories. Columbia College graduate.

I am so sorry to hear about Gabby. She was always one of my favorites. I really appreciated all the support Gabby gave the teachers.. She had a great sense of humor and always had something funny to say. The thing I loved the most about her is that she loved cats. She will be greatly missed.

My sincere condolences to the Lasher family. Gabby was a great lady. Throughout our many years of working for Columbia College she was always the one who help everyone. I never heard her say "no" to anyone. She will ge greatly missed.

There are not enough kind words that could summarize Gabi's generous human nature. I had the opportunity to work with Gabi and Frank from 2008 - 2012 prior to the birth of my first son. She was always the "go to" person when someone needed help and she always went out of her way to help. She said some things to me when I was pregnant, about motherhood, that I didn't fully comprehend at the time until I experienced it myself. Her words have floated through my mind so often over the last 4 and a half years. I remember how she loved that Bob Marley song "Don't worry about a thing" and I hear it daily as it plays on my kids nursery rhyme station. She was a very sweet and magnetic person. My heart goes out to you Frank and your entire family as you try to find peace and comfort in the midst of pain.
