George Quinn Jr. Former Alabama resident George L. Quinn, 90, died peaceably, at his home in Madison, Alabama.

Was predeceased in death by his parents; sister, Glenna J. Quinn; wife, Alberta W. Quinn; step Daughter, Shelly L. Cotten

And Survived by; step daughter, Theresa K. Martin; step sons, Alan D. King, Barry T. King, Richard C. Cotten; niece, Elizabeth C. Wilson; nephews, Thomas F. Butt, Marshall W. Butt III
David D. Porter; 3 Great Nieces and 4 great, great nieces and one great, great nephew

He served honorably in the United States Navy during World War II in the Atlantic and Pacific Theaters; he also was a Mechanical Engineer for the Army Missile Command in Huntsville and spent a total of 36 years in Federal Service. He was a 2 term Water Commissioner for the city of Madison, Alabama. Lifelong interest in raising and showing pedigree dogs.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home where the family will receive friends on Sunday October 2, from 12-1pm with the funeral service to follow in the chapel at 1pm at Spry Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Madison City Cemetery.
