George Dallas Landman, of Huntsville, AL, was welcomed into the kingdom of Heaven on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was 81 years old. He was born on January 27, 1936  in New Market, Alabama to Ellis and Sara (Hubert ) Landman.

Mr. Landman was preceded in death by his sister, Leveda Parton.

He is survived by his wife Edith Landman; sons Mac Landman and his wife Shelia of Huntsville, and Randy Landman and his wife Patsy also of Huntsville; 4 grandchildren, Chad (Bonnie) Landman of Columbia, TN, Miranda  (Drew) Smith of Huntsville, Samantha Landman of Huntsville, and Lindsay Jones of Huntsville; 4 great-grandchildren, Jacob Landman, David Landman, Micah Landman and Lincoln Smith. He is also survived by his brother Larry Landman and wife Sue of Huntsville, and by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Landman was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Huntsville.He was a natural born salesman, and loved to play golf.  He adored his lovely wife Edith of 62 years, his children, his grandchildren, his great-grandchildren, and homemade ice cream.

The family will receive friends at Spry Funeral Home on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Spry Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
