Mr. Jack C. Wise was taken home by the Lord and rejoined with his wife Laura Jean Wise on May 14, 2016.

Jack was born Christmas eve 12/24/1925 in Old Hickory Tennessee. He was preceded in death  by his Father Willis Milton Wise, Mother Alta Ray Garrison, Sister Willa May , Sister Freddie Butterbaugh, Brother Frank Vantrace, and his loving devoted wife of 48 years Laura Jean Wise.

His surviving Family members are his son David J. Wise and his wife Donna L.R. Wise, his Granddaughter Crystal Lee Wise, Brother Thomas Jay Wise, Sister Hazel Payne, and many Nephews and Nieces, along with Hundreds of Friends, and special Friends which watched over him closely such has Barbra and Tom, Nell and TJ and Bill.

Jack Wise grew up in Tennessee and Arkansas during the Great Depression. His Father passed away when he was 8 and his mother died a short time later, leaving him to fend for himself in Watertown Tn. Just has a young boy. He stayed with Mrs. Patton a woman who ran a boarding house. He was quite the young ambitious entrepreneur,   running paper routes, working at the local store and being the neighborhood banker for kids. He saved and worked his way through College, after a short break and being Drafted in the United States Army and serving proudly in World War II.  After the war he finished College, and returned to Tennessee and started working for a National Accounting Firm of Pete Marwick and Mitchell. He later met and married the Love of his Life Laura Jean in Memphis Tn. They moved to Huntsville Alabama and Jack began a long career with the Federal Government working has an Auditor for the United States Army Missile Command.

Jack Wise was a kind gentle Loving Man. He loved everybody, He had No enemies, He was a Christian, and member of Lakewood Baptist Church in Huntsville, Al. He believed strongly in the teachings of Jesus and lived his life in that Manner. He was a devoted Husband and Father he provided for his family and he always showed Jean and David how much he loved them, all the way to the end of her life and now his Life. The world will never be the same place without Handsome Jack Wise in it. He will always be remembered and loved by all who knew him and most of all His son David.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville where the family will receive friends Wednesday, May 18, 2016 from 11am to 1pm with services following in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
