Early Wednesday morning August 23, 2017 Jacob V. Sylvester passed away at the age of 33.

Jacob was born in Huntsville, Al on November 14, 1983 to Malcolm Vernie Sylvester and Effie Dee.  He was also known as “Jake” or “Lucky” to his friends.   Jacob was an avid outdoorsman who loved to watch or play football and hunt.   His lifelong true passion was fishing.   

Jacob faithfully lived for and is survived by his daughters, Nevaeh Sylvester, Destiny Sylvester, Hannah Sylvester, and Haleigh Sylvester.  He is also survived by his grandmother ( Neoma Sylvester ), father, mother, numerous relatives, friends and loved ones.  Jacob was proceeded in death his grandfather Rev Malcolm Woodrow Sylvester.

He also leaves behind his faithful canine best friend, “Spanky Johnson.”

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home.  The visitation will be Friday, August 25, 2017 at 12:00pm with a service to follow at 2:00pm in the chapel.  Burial to follow at Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore Al.
