Mr. James Garland Watson, Jr, age 73 of Huntsville passed away Monday at a local hospital.

We was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mavis Elaine (Whisenant) Watson

He is survived by four sons, James Watson, III, Ricky Watson, Cecil Watson, and Ronnie Watson; daughter, Frances Campbell; brother, Ronnie Watson; three sisters, Peggy Parker, Kay Fox, and Faye Edger; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends Thursday 12:00 until 1:30 pm.  A service will follow in Spry’s Chapel at 1:30 pm with Lon Ostrzycki officiating.  Interment will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
