Jeanette Lee "Janet" Morris

Jeanette Lee “Janet” Morris, age 64, of Huntsville, AL, passed away on Friday, January 26th, 2018, after a courageous battle against cancer.  Born in Oak Park, Illinois, on September 6, 1953, she had resided in Huntsville most of her adult life. She was preceded in death by her father, Arnold E. Yant, and mother, Sophie Guenther Yant. She is survived by her husband, Ronald  Morris, and other family members.

Janet had worked in the food service industry and been a servant of the community for many years. She was an employee of the Huntsville Madison County Senior Center where, for the past eight years, she operated and managed the “Corner Grill”. She went above and beyond her regular duties to befriend and meet the many needs of the Senior community.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 3rd, at 11:00 a.m. in the Worship Center of Farley Community Church, 12302 Bell Road, Huntsville, AL, with Pastor Mike Hulsey officiating.
