John Packard 57, of Toney, AL went to heaven on Sunday, October 4, 2015. He was born in Syracuse, New York to Donald and Roberta Packard. He is preceded in death by his father Donald Packard Sr., brothers Mark and Stephen Packard, and nephew Joshua Paul Hood.

He is survived by his wife Carole Packard, son Mitchel Packard, 3 sisters; Donna Ahlander, Melissa Robinson, and Barbara Hood, 5 brothers; Dennis Packard, Bruce Packard, Greg Packard, Jeff Packard, Donald Packard Jr., and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Packard graduated from J.O. Johnson High School and then served in The United States Navy as a Petty Officer First Class for 6 years on the USS Arthur W. Radford.

Services will be held at Our Lady Queen of The Universe Catholic Church on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 2:00pm.  A graveside service will follow the services at Gatlin Cemetery.

He was a kind and loving man to everyone he met, He will be missed by all.
