Joyce Luna Smith, age 82, of New Market departed this life on Tuesday, April 18, 2017.  Mrs. Smith was born in Huntsville on March 12, 1935 and lived in Madison County her entire life.   She was a loving, giving wife and mother and a member of Oakley Baptist Church.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Lara Luna.
Survivors include her loving husband of 64 years, Bobby Glenn Smith; daughter, Tina Berry and husband Tommy; son, Rodney Smith and his wife Cindy; seven grandchildren, Chris Preston, Jason Preston, Beth Johnson, Christy Parker, Rodney Smith, Jr, Andrew Smith and Zachary Smith; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville where the family will receive friends Thursday 5:00 until 8:00pm.  The funeral service will be held Friday 1:00pm at Winchester Road Baptist Church with the Reverend Hal Howard officiating.  Interment will follow in Cochran Cemetery in New Market.  
Pallbearers will be Chris Preston, Jason Preston, Rodney Smith, Jr, Andrew Smith, Zachary Smith, and Jimmy Edwards.  Honorary pallbearers will be Caleb Parker, Peyton Parker, Billy Gene Smith, Jr, and Jamie Johnson.
