Lynda Francis “Mamaw” Childs Walls

Originally from Waco, Texas and a longtime resident of Huntsville, AL, slipped peacefully to heaven on Thursday, August 24, 2017. She was 73.  

She was the fifth of seven children. Lynda was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church and retired from Regions Bank. A gifted artist, she loved gardening, sewing, reading and scrapbooking.

Lynda will be dearly missed by her children, grandchildren, friends, and family.

Services will be Saturday, 4PM at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Robert A. White, Jr. officiating.

Visitation will be 2 PM until Service.

Survivors include, Daughter: Suzi McGehee & husband Tony of Huntsville, AL; Son: Bubba Walls & wife Lisa of Huntsville, AL; Grandchildren: Jacob McGehee & wife, Lauren, Justin McGehee & wife, Courtney, Trevor Walls, Eva Walls & Erika Walls.
