Mrs. Martha Jeanette (Doran) Hunter, age 79 of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday. 

She is survived by her best friend and husband of 57 years, Joe Hunter; two sons, Greg Hunter and his wife Cecilia of Marietta, GA, and Mike Hunter of Gurley, AL;  two sisters, Josephine Arnold and Geneva Smith, both living in Decatur, AL;  five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville.  Mrs. Hunter will lie-in-state Sunday, February 14th, 2016 from 1:30 until 3:00pm at Huntsville First Baptist Church.  Funeral service will follow at 3:00pm with Reverend Mark Seanor Officiating.  Interment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery. 

Memorials may be made to Huntsville First Baptist Church, Alzheimer’s research, or your favorite charity.
