Mr. Marvin Gilbert Priest, age 86, of Huntsville died Wednesday at his home.  Mr. Priest was a passionate turkey hunter and a member of Briar Fork Holiness Church for many years.

He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Priest.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ruby Pearson Priest;three children, Barry Priest and wife Kathy, Anthony Priest and wife Terry, and Denise Marona and husband Mike; seven grandchildren:  Clint Priest, Amy Priest, Katie Harlow, Laura HIller, Matthew Priest, Ashley Hutchins, and Jacob Shields; five great-grandchildren: Ella, Tallulah, Hayden, Ralston, and Brice; one brother, Gerald Priest; two sisters: Mildred Sisk and Margaret Beagle and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Pallbearers will be  Matthew Priest, Jacob Shields, Mike Marona, Steve Priest, Larry Priest, Brandon Marberry, and Darrell Sealey.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville where the family will receive friends Friday 4:00 until 8:00 pm.  The funeral service will be conducted Saturday 1pm, in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Miller Cemetery in Plevna, AL.
