Mary Lou West Walker 94, of Huntsville, AL passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2017. She was born on September 24, 1922 in Rives, TN to Fred and Ruth Bowers. Mrs. Walker has lived in Huntsville since 1958, where she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a faithful member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She was also a long-time member of The Order of The Eastern Star and was Past Grand Matron of The State of Alabama and a member of Helion Chapter # 203 in Huntsville, AL.  She was dedicated to her God, her family, and her friends.

Mrs. Walker is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Ruth Bowers, brother Thomas Bowers, and her two husbands; Herbert West and Carl Walker.

She is survived by her two children Janice West Ingram (Richard) of LaGrange, Georgia, and Jeff West (Paula) of Madison, AL, brother Roland Bowers of Tuscaloosa, AL, three grandchildren; Meredith Ingram, Richard Ingram, and Emily West, and a very special friend Mary Gullion.

Visitation for Mrs. Walker will be held at St. Paul United Methodist Church on Monday, July 17, 2017 from 11:00am until 1:00pm. Services will follow the visitation at 1:00pm. Burial will take place in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
