Nola Hurst 73, of Huntsville, AL passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Mattie Newman, and brother Ray Newman. She is survived by her son Michael (Lisa) Knighten, daughters Lynn Summers and Robin (Japper) Compton, brother Jackie (Ann) Newman, brother Robert (Joanie) Newman, sister Wanda Lawson, 6 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville. Services will follow the visitation at 4:00 pm in the Spry Funeral Home Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Alacare Hospice in Huntsville,AL.
