Pennie Darlene Turner, 55, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, October 3, 2017. Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00pm. A service will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 2:00pm at Spry Funeral Home, with Pastor Brandon Dyar officiating. Interment will follow the service at Copeland Cemetery in Athens, AL
She was preceded in death by her son, Rusty Crabtree; parents, Wilbert and Kathleen Crowe; sister, Mary Wilson; brother, Scotty Crowe.
Pennie is survived by her husband, Charles Turner; her sons, Jeremy Crabtree and his wife April, Chase Turner and Braden Turner; four grandchildren; two sisters, Judy Stinson, Rita Woods and her husband Bradley; one brother, Johnny Crowe and his wife Mae; nieces, nephews and friends.
Pennie was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and friend who loved all children. She loved the ocean and dolphins as well as birds. She will be missed by many. Pennie is resting peacefully in heaven with many loved ones.
Pallbearers will be; Bradley Woods, Skylar Crowe, Keith Wilson, Roger Sharp, Kevin Vasser, Gerald Turner and honorary, Jeremy Crabtree and Chad Weaver
