Ruth Dieterich ("Miss Ruth"), 98, of Huntsville, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 21, 2017.

She was born in Middletown, Ohio to Albert and Lillian Kuiken.

"Miss Ruth" was an accomplished pianist who played for the Huntsville Ballet Co. (20 yrs), Esther Church, and the Salvation Army.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Walter Kuiken, and husband, Robert E. Dieterich Sr.

Survivors include Robert E. Dieterich Jr., Nancy Jo Wright (Bill), Fred A. Dieterich (Jan), and 37 grand and great-grand children.

A private graveside service will be held Monday at Maple Hill Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
