Suzanne M. Stensby, age 88,of Huntsville, died on Thursday October 1 2015.

Mrs. Stensby was born in Paris, France. She was a native of Madison County and worked at Hillsboro Baptist Church. Suzanne was a longtime past member of the International Women's Club and a volunteer at the Senior Center. She loved to cook, sew, travel and attend church. Suzanne was a longtime member of the Catholic Church on Redstone Arsenal. Mrs. Stensby is preceded in death by her husband John L. Stensby, her son Ronnie Harris and daughter Christine Wentworth.

Mrs. Stensby is survived by her daughter, Terry Wethington of Harvest, Al.; her son, Randy Harris of Memphis Tenn.: her stepchildren, Dr. John L. Stensby of Madison, Al., Dr. James G. Stensby of Winchester Tenn., and Ginger Stensby of Charlotte N.C.; her grandchildren Suzanne Parise and husband Joseph Parise, of Harvest, Al., Melinda Lawson of Huntsville, Al., Floyd Bost lll of Louisiana., John L. Stensby, Jr. of TN; Dax Harris of KY., Danielle Harris of KY., Heather Wentworth of KY., Gabe Wentworth of KY and Camille Harris of TN; her greatgrandchildren Zoe Lawson of Huntsville., Kyle Parise of Harvest., William Parise of Harvest., Elise Bost of Louisiana., and 10 other great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday October 11, 2015 at 6pm with the family receiving friends from 5pm-6pm, prior to the service, at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Alzheimer's and Breast Cancer research.
