Karen Lourdes Marsh, 5, of Madison, Alabama, died Thursday, Oct. 9. She drowned after unlocking a spare bedroom, exiting the window and climbing a fence to explore a neighbor's pool.
Karen was born in Alexandria, Virginia, two months premature and moved to Madison when she was 1 years old. She attended First Presbyterian Church of Huntsville, Alabama, and Mill Creek Elementary School.
She is survived by her parents, Dwight and Rica Marsh, and grandparents, Larry and Karen Marsh and Romulo Lapid.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 18 at 1:30 p.m. in the sanctuary at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Mark Mueller officiating. The family will receive friends in Fellowship Hall following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Little Children of the World (Philippines.)
