Pauline Hill Roberson, age 91, of Gurley, died on Wednesday May 27, 2015
Mrs. Roberson was a longtime sales clerk at F. W. Woolworth's in the Heart of Huntsville Mall and a longtime member, since 1976, of Huntsville Christian Church. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Hanford Lee Tyus and Woodrow Roberson; her parents, Jim and Cathleen Hill; her daughter Phoebe Lynn Roberson; her grandson, Charles Harris Tyus.; her sisters, Frances Knighten, Ethel Taylor, Geraldine Page, and Mary Hill; and her brothers, James Hill, Marshall L. Hill, and James Hill.
Mrs. Roberson is survived by her children, Mary F. Hassey, Jody T. McCuiston, Charles H. Tyus, Larry Tyus, Jimmy L. Tyus, Jackie L. Tyus, Kathy T. Jones, and Alicia R. Pettis; her sisters, Louise Abernathy and Faye McKenzie; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on Saturday May 30, 2015 at 1pm at First Baptist Church of Huntsville Chapel with burial to follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on that day from 11am until 1pm at the church.
The family would like to give a special thanks to ACE Home Health Care, Hospice Family Care, and to Dr. Gordon Cash for his love, kindness, and unending support.
