Vidalina Velez Cruz Obituary
In loving memory of Vidalina Velez Cruz, age 81, passed peacefully on April 24, 2024. She was born on June 10, 1942, to the parents of Americo Velez and Aida Cruz in the town of Maricao, Puerto Rico.
She loved music, had a passion for sewing, and enjoyed her time at the casinos where she mostly loved people watching. Vidalina Velez Cruz is survived by two sisters, Luz Aida Velez Cruz of Las Marias, Puerto Rico and Ada Ligia Baker of Meridianville, Alabama, and two brothers, Zoe Velez of San Juan, Puerto Rico and Hector Velez of Archbold, Ohio and granddaughter, Annie Vargas of Clearwater, FL. She is preceded in death by her husband, David Vargas and son, Laurie Vargas.
She was loved by all her family and will always be remembered for her sweet and gentle spirit.
Spry Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements and there have not been any services planned at this time. Interment will be held in Hatillo, Puerto Rico at a later date.
