Bobbie Drake Obituary
Bobbie JoAnn Evett Drake, age 85, of Big Cove, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Tuesday. November 13, 2018. Mrs. Drake was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Edward Oakley Drake; her parents Chester George and Druscilla Webster Evett, and her siblings, Cornelia Evett West and George Wesley Evett. She is survived by her children, Dennis Edward Drake and Dean Slayton, Kevin Wendell Drake, Benny Myron and Beth Cowan Drake, and Bobby Shannon and Tonya Miller Drake; her sibling James Derrick Evett; her grandchildren, Christopher Edward Drake, Danelle Drake Duskin, Victoria Drake Hunkapiller, Crystal Drake Lamb, Morgan Drake Majors, Keenan Oakley Drake, Wyatt Oakley Drake, and Walker Keith Drake; 14 Great-Grandchildren and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, at 2:00 pm at Big Cove Holiness Church with burial to follow in Green Valley Cemetery. Rev(s) Shirley Byrum and Mark Warren will be officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Big Cove Holiness Church.
