Brents Edward Towery

Mr. Brents Edward Towery, aged 68, of Hazel Green, Alabama, passed away Tuesday September 24, 2019.  Mr. Towery was unmarried and a 1970 graduate of Lee High School in Huntsville.  He enlisted in the U. S. Air Force shortly after graduation,  serving honorably until the end of his enlistment in 1974.  Upon leaving military service, Mr. Towery was employed as a machinist and line supervisor at Meadow Gold Dairy in Huntsville.  He  recently retired from the Hampton Cove Wal-Mart to spend his final years at the family home site in Hazel Green, Alabama.

Mr. Towery was preceded in death by his father, James Howard Towery, and mother, Bonnie Ilene (Moon) Towery.  He was also preceded  by a brother James Ryan Towery of Huntsville.  Surviving family members include sister Rose Sharon Towery Linsky (Henry), brother William Bryan Towery (Janet), and brother Martin Eugene Towery, as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Services will be provided by Spry Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6 – 8 pm Friday, September 27th with graveside services at Maple Hill Cemetery, Sunday September 29th at 1:00 pm.
