Caroll Jean Reynolds, 67, of Gurley, Alabama went to be with the good Lord on March 9, 2018 while at home in Gurley. Caroll was born August, 6th 1950 in Guntersville, Alabama, to Carter and Jewell (Thompson) Pence.
Caroll loved being outdoors. She loved flowers and birds, especially hummingbirds. She also loved her furbabies and her family. She graduated from Madison County High School.
In 1985 on August 30th, she married J.T. Reynolds, and they began their life together for 11 years prior to his passing. In addition to their busy work life, she worked as an excellent seamstress at Available Plastics for 20 years, she raised her two daughters and helped with his six children.
Caroll is survived by 1 brother, Michael Pence (Kathy); 2 daughters, Shane Biles (Robert) and Michelle Vaughn (Gary); 6 step children; 5 grandchildren, Brianne Vaughan, Kayla Vaughn, Whitney Biles, Carter Biles, Sonya Byrd (Heath); 3 great-grandkids, Bella Byrd, Hunter Byrd, and Caroll-Jean Johnson; and many other family and close friends. She is preceded in death by her spouse J.T. Reynolds, father Carter Pence, and mother Jewell (Thompson) Pence. Special thank you to long time friend Joann Harbin and caregiver Sindy Reynolds.
Services will be held at Spry Funeral Home March 10, 2018 at 2 p.m., with chaplain Tim Rice, followed by burial at Gurley City Cemetery.
