Christopher James Henry

Christopher James Henry, age 28, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018. He was born May 8, 1990 to Mark and Diana McMannis Henry. Chris was born in Seattle, Washington, but Huntsville was home.  He was a 2008 graduate of Sparkman High School, where he then enlisted in the United State Marine Corps, serving as a Communications Technician at Camp Pendleton, CA.  He was honorably discharged as a Sargent. He had a heart for serving others, especially concerned for veterans. He was a baptized believer in Jesus Christ. His love for his son Carson was immense.
 

Chris is survived by his son Carson, parents Mark and Diana, older brother, Kevin (Hayley) and twin brother Brad (Erika), grandfather Robert Henry and grandparents Milan and Virginia McMannis.  Also survived by other uncles, aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Barbara Henry.

The family will receive friends Monday, July 30th at Huntsville Christian Church from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 31st at 10:00 am at the church. He will lie in state before the service from 9:00 am until 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Warrior Bonfire Program, Camp Downrange or the National Veterans Foundation are highly encouraged.  All of these organizations to help our nations servants.
