Col. (Ret) Robert Eugene Huston

Colonel Robert Eugene Huston (Ret.) 76, of Huntsville, AL passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018. Col. Huston was born in Sacramento, California on October 17, 1942. He is Graduate of United States Military Academy at West Point, Class of ’66, commissioned as a Air Defense Artillery Officer, who received basic parachutist badge and Ranger Tab. He also graduated from the Air Force Command and Staff College and completed his masters in physics. He served in Vietnam, and was the recipient of a Combat Infantry Badge, Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He retired as a Colonel after 26 years of service. 

He is proceeded in death by his mother Mildred Frost Huston, father Ralph Eugene Huston, and sister Mary Huston.

He is survived by his wife Alma Taylor Huston, son's; Ryan Huston (Erin Morgan), Justin Huston (Alanna Huston), daughter Megan Huston Carter (Chris Carter), 9 Grandchildren, brother's; Reg Huston and Ed Huston (Mary Kay Huston).

A memorial service will be held at Southwood Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, December 26 at 10:00 am with a visitation to follow.
