David Chadwick Hall, 79, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on July 11, 2019. A native of Rural Hall, NC, he was preceded in death by his parents, William Alfred Hall and Florence Tate Hall.
A graduate of North Carolina State University, Mr. Hall was a retired engineer, having worked with military defense contractors in Huntsville since 1972. Prior to that he was a Physicist with the Gemini and Apollo Space Programs in Houston, Texas.
He is survived by a daughter, Brynna (Chad) Self, of Huntsville; sons Dr. David Chadwick (Melisa) Hall II, of Olive Branch, MS, and Adam J. (Gwendolyn) Hall of Gaithersburg, MD; granddaughters Elizabeth and Alexandra Hall, Genevieve and Shannon Hollenbach, and Caitlin Kelley; grandsons Jackson Hall and Jack Kelley. Mr. Hall is also survived by a brother, William A. (Margie) Hall of Rural Hall, NC, and nieces Tanya Hall Scalf and Deana Hall.
Spry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements which include visitation on Saturday, July 13 from 4 to 6 pm with the funeral service following at 6 pm. Burial will take place on Sunday at Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville, AL.
