Esther Mae (Rice) Edwards

Esther Mae Edwards, 84, of Huntsville, Alabama died on September 30, 2018. She was born on April 1, 1934 in Erwin, Tennessee and has lived in Huntsville for the last 48 years.

Esther is survived by her husband Roy, sons Mike and Mitchell, grandchildren Justin and Justina, and sister Evelyn Ford. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Laura Rice and brothers Bernie, Donald, Herman, Homer and Milburn.

Esther was a devoted wife, mother, and was a friend to everyone that she met. Her love and care for others touched countless lives.

There will be a graveside service at maple Hill Cemetery on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 10:00 AM. The service will be officiated by Rev. Mike Hulsey.

The family requests that donations to the Farley Community Church building fund be made in lieu of flowers. Donations may be sent to Farley Community Church ,12302 Bell Rd., Huntsville, AL 35803.
