Evelyn (Lamb) Preston

Mrs. Evelyn Preston, age 77 of Huntsville, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019. She was born July 17, 1941 to Frankie Lee and Annie Lamb in Madison County. She took great pride in being a mother and loved her children.

Mrs. Preston is survived by her husband, Stanley Preston; children: Laura Hopkins, Stevie Norman and Ricky (wife, Tammy) Douglas; step-son, Dewite Preston; grandchildren: Megan Jo Douglas, Spencer Douglas and Candace Norman; and a brother, Bobby Lamb. She was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings.

The family will receive friends Monday, February 25, 2019 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Spry Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am in the chapel with Mike Helton officiating. Interment will be in Rice Cemetery.
