Fay Jefferson Dowell

Fay Jefferson Dowell, 86, of Huntsville, AL passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Saturday, August 31, 2019. Mr. Dowell is a Veteran of the United States Air Force where he served in the Korean War, and later retired from the Department of Defense in 1989. He is preceded in death by his parents Ward and Mable Dowell, wife Nancy Dowell, daughter Debbie Chisholm, and brother Ray Dowell. He is survived by his daughter Rebecca (Jimmy) Long, son Rickey Dowell, grandchildren; Angela (Sondra) Green, Sarah (Mitchell) Marchbanks, and Codie (Morgan) Long, great grandchildren; Jayden, Mitchell  Jr, Meleah, and Emelie.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 from 1:00pm until 2:30pm at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville. A graveside service will follow the visitation at Maple Hill Cemetery at 3:00pm.
