Glenda Ann (Worley) Pierce

Glenda Ann Worley Pierce, of Toney, AL, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the age of 76.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Gladys Worley, her brother, Wilson Worley, and her daughter, Ginger Pierce.  She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Johnnie Carl Pierce Sr., her son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Cheryl Pierce of Toney, AL, her daughter and son-in-law, Terrie and John Shull, of Huntsville, AL, and one fur baby, Little Duke of Toney, AL.  Glenda was a devoted member of Toney Holiness Church. She played piano for gospel groups for many years.  She loved music and would try her hand at a variety of instruments throughout the years.  A Graduate of Hazel Green High school, Glenda spent many years in the Jewelry business in the Huntsville area before she retired. She enjoyed painting, traveling, and learning. She had a charitable heart and would always try to help out whenever she heard of or saw anyone in need. She will be remembered for her kind, giving, humorous, and compassionate nature.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville. Services will be held in the Spry Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 11:00 am with Bro. Rodney Underwood and Bro. Mike Keel officiating. Interment will follow the service in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
