Helen Marie Lones Cagle. Born 22 April, 1931 in Huntsville, Al. One of eight children of Walker and Mae Lones of Madison County, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her immediate family. Happily married for over 50 years to Floyd Edward Cagle (deceased) also of Madison County. Survived by six children, Steve, Bruce, Kathy, Karen, Ricky and Mark; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Askins and Patsy Mullins; two brothers, Floyd Lones and James Lones; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended relatives, including a special favorite, Eddie Lones. Traditionally raised on a small rural farm in the Riverton area of Madison County, she was blessed with the learned values of faith and family. These values guided her life and were reflected in her many contributions and affectations to the lives of all who knew her. Marie worked for many years at the S&H Green Stamp Store in North Huntsville, retiring when that company permanently closed. She attended Wears Baptist Church, Rev. Tim Payne, pastor. Services will be held at Spry Funeral Home, Huntsville, with visitation scheduled from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Tuesday, October 31, 2017 to be immediately followed by funeral services with Pastor  Mark Stinnett officiating. Burial will be at the Plainview Cemetery in Hazel Green, Al.
