Jackie Dolan Letson, 68, of Hazel Green passed away Tuesday at a local hospital.  Mr. Letson was a US Army Veteran receiving the Purple Heart during the Vietnam War.  His career spanned over 40 years with Kroger and the United Food and Commercial Workers Union.  HIs passions included his family, cars, firearms and even learning to play the guitar.

Mr. Letson was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Esther Letson; and his daughter, Tana Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Katie Letson; three children, Jamie Letson, Kristy Seamons, and Tracy Pennington; three brothers, Russ Letson, Donald Letson, and Bobby Letson; 14 grandchildren, seven great-grandchidren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville where the family will receive friends Thursday 12:00 until to 2:00 pm.  Funeral Services will follow at  2:00pm in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home with Pastor Shawn Smith officiating..  Interment will follow in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
