He is survived by his wife, Carroll Holland of Huntsville, AL, children; Ella Millwood Tunstill of Decatur, AL, Violet Hamlin of Huntsville, AL, Lloyd Hamlin Jr of Iowa, Shelli Bennett of Toney, AL, and David Pitts Jr of Florida, grandchildren; Ashley Millwood  of Philadelphia, Michael Millwood of Jasper,AL, J T Madison of Lynn, AL, Joseph Madison of Lynn, AL, Steven Madison of Lynn, AL, Jeffrey Hamlin of Huntsville, AL, Shauna Hill of Harvest, AL, Angela Hicks of Texarkana, Carissa Bennett of Toney, AL, Beau Bennett of Toney, AL, Rita LaPlante of Las Vegas, NV, Aura Hamlin of Iowa, Andrew Hamlin of Iowa, Moria Hamlin of Iowa, Chloe Hamlin of Iowa, Jarred Pitts of Florida, and numerous great grandchildren

Visitation for Mr. Holland will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 2:00pm until 3:00pm at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville. Services will follow the visitation at 3:00pm in the Spry Funeral Home chapel.
