James Gerard McLaughlin

James Gerard McLaughlin, 74, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away April 13, 2019. He was born May 31, 1944 in Mississippi.

He was an active member and deacon of Chase Park Church of Christ (Memorial Parkway Church). He loved designing and developing custom industrial machinery. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and foster parent, as well as board member of AGAPE.

He is survived by his wife Sharon McLaughlin; children Tatia Carpenter (Buddy) and Lora Chandler (Bobby); sister Carol McLaughlin; grandchildren Caitlin Medley, Haley Clendinen, Macy Holley, Taylor Carpenter, and Sydney Chandler; and great-grandchildren Graham Medley and Ava Medley.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, Alabama. The family will receive friends Monday April 15, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 14, 2019 with interment for follow at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
