Jana Kaye Harbin, 54, of Meridianville, Alabama passed away September 6, 2017. She was born on May 23, 1963 in Huntsville, Alabama to William and Betty (Hammonds) Buchanan.

She retired from the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office after 25 years. She has been a member of the Meridianville Volunteer Fire department since 2006, where she was currently employed.

She is survived by her son Chad Harbin; granddaughter Harper Harbin; fiancé Huck Hornbuckle; parents Buck and Betty Buchanan; brothers Kent (Susan) Buchanan and David (Christy) Buchanan; stepdaughter Shandy Hollander; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, Alabama. The family will receive friends on Sunday September 10, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Monday September 11, 2017 11:00 am in the Spry Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Valley View Memorial Gardens.
