Jerome Alan Belcher

Jerome Alan Belcher, 69, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on March 3, 2018. Jerome was born on April 17, 1948 in Russellville, AL and graduated from Butler High School and the University of Alabama in Huntsville. While at UAH he enjoyed competing on the intercollegiate rowing team where they finished second in the Southern Rowing Association meet and third in the President’s Cup Regatta at Washington, D.C. in 1968. He was a member of Unitarian Universalist Church of Huntsville.

Jerome was preceded in death by his parents, Bernice and Connie Belcher. He will be lovingly remembered by his partner of 19 years, Nancy Stetson; brother, Steven and his wife Ellen and their son Ethan; two sons, Jeremy and his wife Julie, Jeff and his wife Kristen; two grandchildren, Gwynn and Luke, and many other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Unitarian Universalist Church of Huntsville on March 17th at 2 pm with visitation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Family Care or the Unitarian Universalist Church of Huntsville.
