Jerry Scrogins

Jerry Wayne Scroggins of Lacey's Spring, AL died October 26,2019 at home.

Jerry was born Born March 7, 1945 in Madison, IN to Harold & Mary Gladys Scroggins. He lived in Madison for many years before moving to Texas then settled in Alabama. 
Jerry is survived by his partner of over 25 years Judy Bibby. Sons Ronald, Darren, David & Jeff Scroggins. One Grandson Brody Scroggins. One Brother Robert Scroggins and his wife Ruth of Orange City FL. & One Sister Phyllis Logsdon & her husband Donald Logston of Scottsville, KY.
He was preceded in death by one son Jeremy Scroggins, His father & mother, his brothers Donald Fredenburgh, Harold, Roger, James, Ike, Charles & George Scroggins, Sisters Barbara Scroggins Boggs & Carolyn Scroggins Akers.
Jerry was an avid fisherman and loved spending many days out on the lake or creek bank fishing for anything he could catch and he had some whopper of fish stories he could tell! He also enjoyed gardening and growing some of the biggest vegetables you ever seen!
The family will be holding a memorial at Wintzel's Oyster House in Guntersville, AL on Monday Oct 28th at 3pm CST. All are welcome to come and visit with family and friends and share their love and memories of Jerry. The family will also hold a memorial service for Jerry in Madison, IN at a later date with internment at Caledonia Cemetary in Indiana.
