Jerry Wayne Shavers

Mr. Jerry W. Shavers 68, of Huntsville, AL passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018. He was born on September 10,1949 in Scottsboro, AL to Granville "Roy" Shavers and Ola Gentle Shavers. He is preceded in death by his  father, Granville “Roy” Shavers and mother Ola Gentle Shavers, and a nephew Mark Shavers. He is survived by his wife of 44 years Patsy Ann Chandler Shavers, son Jeremy Shavers and wife Erin, son Stephen Shavers and wife Melissa, daughter Sarah Shavers and significant other James Spence, brother Roy Shavers Jr. and wife Janice, sister Charlotte Shavers Potter and husband Anthony, nephew Tim Shavers and wife Joyce, 3 nieces; Rebecca Shavers Mihok and husband Charles, Rachel Potter Garces and husband Josh, Leah Potter Case and husband Matt, numerous great nieces and nephews, and he was a proud PawPaw to 5 grandchildren; James, Holly, Ethan, Joseph, and Patricia Ann.

A celebration of life will held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 3:00pm until 5:00pm at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville.
