John D. Boyett, age 65 of Madison, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018. He was born November 2, 1952 to Otis and Dorothy Sellers Boyett in Cario, GA. John worked for Army Corps Of Engineer at the Guntersville Lock And Dam for 31 years as a Lockmaster. John was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
John is survived by his wife Cheryl Boyett; daughter Tabitha Harvell (Jimmy); daughter Nikki Boyett; son John Paul Boyett (Haley Davis); five granddaughters; three grandsons; one sister Myra Henderson; and three brothers Otis Boyett, Larry Boyett, Adrian Boyett and Sam Boyett.
The family will receive friends at Spry Funeral Home Tuesday, July 17th from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM in the chapel at Spry Funeral Home.
