John Randall Parks

"Ride cowboy ride!"

John "Randall" Parks, age 55, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at his home in New Hope, Alabama.

He shared his home with Meri Ann Parks and they spent 28 years of marriage together.

He is survived by his wife Meri; daughters Kenya (Tom) Gurley and Nickie (Jeff) Cluttz; son Scott (Krisa) Wilbourn; grandchildren Mary Lou, Nannie, Little Nickie, Kinlee, Shelbi, and Balie; brothers Richard Parks, Larry (Barbera) Parks, and Michael (Debra) Parks.

He is proceeded in death by his mother Lois Parks, father Jim Parks, brother Steve Parks, and sister Carol Parks.

He was a very hardworking man who loved his family! He had three dogs Destiny, Missy, and Little Man! He was a beloved father, husband and grandfather! He loved raising and riding horses and going to horse shows.

He's our beloved cowboy!

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, Alabama. The family will receive friends at Spry Funeral Home on Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, May 6, 2018 with interment to follow at Beason Cemetery in Gurley, Alabama.
