Mr. John Felton Stone, age 92 of Huntsville, passed away Sunday at local hospital. A native of Shelby County, AL, he has resided in Madison County for the past 64 years.  Mr Stone was an Army-Air Corps Veteran of WWII.  After graduating from the University of Alabama, Mr. Stone started his career with Redstone Arsenal and NASA, until he retired in 1991.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Stone.

John  is survived by his two daughters, Sandra Stone Snow, and husband Dick, and Karen Stone Johnson, and husband David; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:00 until 1:00PM  Funeral services will follow at 1:00pm at Spry Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery. Dr. Jimmy Jackson will officiate. The family would like to offer special thanks the caregivers, Angie, Faye, Loretta, Erma, and Jeanine for the loving care they have shown our father over the last seven years.
